The new note feature allowing for personal notes and choosing which org to post a note on is a great addition. However, I think it would be valuable for any individual who is a member of an organization to be able to set a default organization on which to post their notes.
I feel that the extra step added through the dropdown is imparing the productivity and opening up potential issues when someone accidentally posts in either the wrong org or sets their note to be a personal one.
Looking at this request I think its definitely viable and relatively easy to implement which would in my opinion be a great addition to improve the overall quality.
