Basically, create a feature where when lower-ranking staff members (Or people who don’t have the “Approve Bans” permission) cant actually ban players without it first being approved, then try to add a ban to a player it goes to a “Pending Action” section where it must be reviewed by someone who has the “Approve Bans” like a higher member of staff.
Or it could be if a ban meets specific criteria (EG the ban length is over a week-long or the banned player hasn’t played on the server in 3 weeks etc) it goes into that section.
I have provided a few examples:
Jimmy who is a new staff member notices someone in-game break a rule, he goes to BM presses ban selects the length and adds a note. When Jimmy presses save the ban automatically goes to a “Pending actions” page where Frank a more senior member of staff reviews it and chooses whether or not to approve the ban and actually ban the player.
Jimmy again goes to ban a player named Rick but this time it is purely a “troll” ban as the person he tries to ban is his mate. When he goes to save the ban it gets put into the “Pending actions” section as it met the following criteria:
-Ban is a perm
-Player hasn’t been on the server in a while
-Jimmy and Rick are friends on steam
When Frank goes to review the ban he notices the anomalies and gives Jimmy a slap.
Basically, it is an approval queue for bans to allow Very controlling organisations owners keep a tight ship when it comes to staff and them abusing.
Perfect, this will really help Frank do his job more efficiently! Superb suggestion.
