This could then allow us to disband the squad and ban/kick a person using words like the n word or f word in their squad names. I’m aware we still can’t even see who created a squad in the BM activity feed, but I’m guessing this is because it’s a new feature.
The calling of squad names is only down via the admin at SquadList, it’s not something that is pulled via BM itself, but a admin command, and the response is sent to them.
Squad creation is only sent to server logs, not over RCON, OWI might change this in the future to be sent over rcon, but they are limited on the amount of information due to the current rcon system built into the engine.
Ah, I suppose I misunderstood during the last round table. I was running off too little sleep. I really hope OWI decides to give us RCON access to that, because it’s such a common occurance to have homophobic or racist squad names and log diving every time is extremely time consumming.
